Roots Kids Boxing
If you’re looking to spice up your basic workout routine, look no further. Kids boxing blends martial arts and cardio for a fun, high-energy class that will help you burn hundreds of calories like it’s nothing. This class pairs upbeat music with combinations of various punches and kicks, including jabs, hooks, uppercuts, front kicks and roundhouse kicks. As the class advances, we will incorporate jump roping, hand weights, and punching bags. In RCC’s kids boxing class, you’ll get your heart rate up, boost your endurance, and work every part of your body – all while having the time of your life.

Between interval training, strength-building drills, and aerobic conditioning, nothing builds endurance like cardiokboxing. Despite what you may think, endurance isn’t just necessary for professional athletes or marathon runners. Not only is endurance essential for everyday tasks, but it maintains heart and lung health and can protect you from various diseases. As you build up your endurance from all those fast-paced kicks and punches, you’ll find all your other exercises become easier. Say goodbye to feeling winded after a long trip up the stairs!

We make this a reality by teaching students proper forms, showing them how to utilize the correct muscles with each move, and perfecting the basics before jumping into those tricks you’ve seen in the movies. We’ll begin by mastering jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts. As you advance through our boxing curriculum, you’ll acquire more advanced skills and begin to incorporate a greater amount of sparring into your workout.
